Our mission is to lead the next generation to find a home in His house, get rooted in His word, and be builders of His Kingdom.
THE CHURCH KIDS EXPERIENCE
Each week we are dedicated to crafting an engaging, life-giving, and fun atmosphere in our classrooms where kids can learn about God at their own level. Your children will experience a time of worship and an age-relevant bible-based lesson, followed by small groups and interactive games. We hope to see you at one of our locations soon!
On your first visit you can expect our team to be waiting at the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family. To prepare ahead of time, you can fill out the New Family Pre-Registration Form.
CITIZENS HAVEN
Our Special Needs and Accommodations Ministry is built on the belief that every individual, regardless of ability, is uniquely created and loved by God. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals with special needs and accommodations and their families can experience the love of Christ and grow in their faith.
Through personalized care, thoughtful support, and intentional community, our ministry seeks to empower each participant to discover their God-given potential, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and find a place to belong. Whether through tailored programming, sensory-friendly services, or one-on-one support, we are committed to walking alongside families, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and grace, and reflecting God’s heart for all people.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Citizens Kids is broken up into three age ranges: Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years old), Preschool (3 to 5 years old), and Elementary (6 years-old to 5th grade).
Our mission to partner with parents to lead children into an authentic, relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe we are leading the next generation of world changers!
When arriving to Citizens Kids, you will register your family at the New Family Check-In desk, where team members can assist you. You will then check-in your child at a check-in station and print off their name tags. You will receive two name tags, one for your child to wear and one for pick-up after service. It is important you keep your child’s pick-up receipt, as that is a security measure we take to ensure all pick-ups are safe! A team member will then show you to your child’s classroom, where they will be checked into that particular classroom
We keep it safe in Citizens Kids and have security present at all times. All persons entering the environments are either serving as a volunteer or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all volunteers are background and reference checked before they serve. You will see each volunteer wears a name tag to identify they have been cleared to serve. Each of our classrooms has room ratios to ensure the safety of the specific ages.
In our preschool and elementary rooms, your child will dive deep into Bible stories through a variety of large group lessons, games, discussions with leaders, and prayer time. We believe in the next generation and our greatest joy is to grow and go together!
Yes, we at Citizens Kids follow the “age down” policy.
This is to protect the children and to make sure all the children are cared for with proper adult to child ratios and the overall age of the children in each environment.
Example: A family with children ages 7, 4 and 3 years old. The 4-year-old can stay with the 3-year-old and go to the 3-year-old’s classroom. We do not allow a 4-year-old to go to the 7-year-old’s classroom.
In short, no.
We understand that you want to stay with your child and make sure that your child is safe and enjoying themselves while in our care.
Please know that your child’s safety is our number one priority too. We strive to provide safe, fun, and engaging environments for all the children we get to serve.
We make sure everyone allowed in a classroom has passed a background checked.
In the event we need to get in touch with a parent/guardian regarding the well-being and safety of a child we will contact you via a text message.
Please always keep your phone nearby on vibrate. If your child cries, our caring team members will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of 10-15 minutes, we will text you.
