What to expect at Citizens Kids
Our Kids rooms provide a clean and safe environment for kids to learn and have fun at their age level. From activities, games, small groups and Bible lessons we have a fun morning planned with your kids in mind!
On your first visit our Team will be ready to meet you at our New Here Kids Check-In Tent. We will guide you to your kids classes and make sure they are good to go. Then we’ll bring you to the auditorium where we’ll have some great seats waiting for you.
If you’d like to Pre- Register your kids you can fill out the New Family Pre-Registration Form.
CITIZENS HAVEN
Each Sunday our Haven Room creates a unique environment designed exclusively for those with special needs. This classroom provides a smaller, quieter learning space. It’s our desire to provide every child with an opportunity to learn about God’s love. Our Team is here to partner with our families as they participate in the life of Citizens Church.

At Citizens we believe that the best way we can help your kids develop a love for God and grow in their faith is by partnering with you! Here’s a few ways to get the best out of Citizens Kids.
Pick a consistent time to attend services.
This will help your kids build a relationship with their leaders and other kids.
Ask Them What They Learned In Class.
Talking with your kids about what they learned, asking them questions and letting them share is an important part of their spiritual growth. It’s also a great way to develop having conversations with your kids about their faith.
Practice the current Citizens Kids Bible Memory Verse with your kids.
Scripture memorization is an important part of equipping our kids to know and love Gods Word.

Citizens Kids is broken up into four age ranges: Nursery- 6 weeks to 2 years old. Preschool- 3 to 5 years old. Kinder- 1st Grade and 2nd- 5th Grade.
Our mission is raise up kids that know and love God and His Word. To partner with parents to develop their kids faith and character. We believe we are equipping the next generation of world changers!
When arriving to Citizens Kids, our Team will be ready to greet you and register your family at the New Here Kids Check-In Tent. We’ll get your kids their name tags- you will receive two name tags, one for your kid to wear and one for you to use for pick-up after service. It is important you keep your kids pick-up tag as a security measure that we use to ensure all kids are picked up safely. A team member will guide you to your kids class and make sure they are good to go.
Safety is a top priority in Citizens Kids. We have security present at all times. All persons entering the Kids area are either Team Member or are dropping off/picking up kids. In addition to this, all Team Members are background checked.
Our Nursery and Toddler Rooms provide age appropriate play time, Bible lesson, worship and activities.
In our Preschool and Elementary age rooms your kids will participate in games, activities, small groups, worship and Bible Lessons.
We have created each room to have age appropriate lessons and activities to give your kids the best experience. If needed, we do offer an “age down” policy. This would allow an older child to attend class with a younger sibling to help them adjust.
If you would like to stay with your kid to help them feel comfortable, you are welcome to. If you are planning to stay with them for multiple weeks we’ll have you complete a Background Check for the safety of all our kids.
If we need to get ahold of a parent/guardian regarding their child we will contact you via a text message.
