As a church, we’ve been keeping a close eye on concerns over the spread of COVID-19. We’ve been in direct contact with the California Department of Health, local officials, and the Governor’s office as things have been unfolding. The California Department of Health and our Governor’s office is asking us to avoid gatherings of over 250 people. At Citizens, we want to do all that we can to help support efforts to keep our church family and our community healthy.

Starting this weekend, we will be moving our services to a live online church at home experience. You’ll be able to participate in worship, hear a message from Pastor Chris as we continue in the “Seven Series,” and even let kids get involved through a separate online experience just for them!

ONLINE SERVICE TIMES:

Services will be available here on our website, YouTube.com/citizenschurch, and Vimeo.com/citizens.

cGROUPS:

As of now, the California Department of Health is asking us only to avoid gatherings of over 250 people. We’re asking our cGroup leaders to use their own comfort level and discretion. We’re currently working on creative ways to host people and keep them connected. Our cGroups will be a key part of that plan over the next several weeks.

WHATS NEXT:

As things are developing, we’ll continue to keep you updated on our plans and as to when our normal weekend services will resume. Keep an eye on Citizenschurch.org, your email, and our social media platforms for all the updates. Join us in praying for our local health and government officials as they work to contain the virus.

For now, keep yourselves healthy, and we’ll see you here online this weekend!
