• WHY INTERN?

The Vision- It is our desire to train and equip young people to experience, grow in and develop their spiritual, personal, and physical life. To be part of the local church making a difference and seeing lives changed through life in Christ.

If you’d like the opportunity to grow spiritually, as a leader, build community, get hands-on experience in ministry, and be challenged then our Internship is for you.

  • HOW LONG IS THE INTERNSHIP?

The Citizens Internship is an 8-week commitment. It is our desire that you would experience community, grow in your leadership, to develop healthy spiritual and physical habits. To grow in your relationship with God and discover how God has uniquely designed you to make a difference for His kingdom.

  • IS THIS A PAID INTERNSHIP?

The Citizens Church Internship is not a paid internship.

  • DOES CITIZENS PROVIDE HOUSING?

If you are coming from out of town and have no place to stay, just let us know and we will work to accommodate you.

  • WHAT IF I AM AN INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT?

Each applicant is responsible for ensuring their work eligibility in the USA. Documentation of the proper work VISA will be required prior to acceptance into the internship program.

  • TRANSPORTATION?

It is highly recommended that interns have a vehicle. Redlands does not have a well established public transportation system and your position may require you to run errands.

  • WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

Our internship program is a commitment of 15 hours a week. We ask that you commit to not missing more than 2 days of the Internship and that you are on time. You’ll get out of it, what you put into it.

  • WILL I BUILD COMMUNITY?

We are a community on a mission and believe that the best way to build community is by doing life together. Over the course of this program, you will be surrounded by, and working alongside great people. All interns will also be a part of our internship C-Group, a weekly bible study focused on leadership. This is a great opportunity to connect with the interns from other departments and grow.

  • EVENTS?

All church wide events are mandatory and are considered “all hands on deck.” This includes before, during, and after an event.
